DAVLETSHINA, Khadiya Lutfullovna (21.2.1905, Derevnya Khasanovo of Nikolayevsky Uyezd of Samara Gub., now Derevnya Khasyanovo of Bolshechernigovsky Raion of Samara Obl., – 5.12.1954, Birsk), a Writer. Laureate of the Salavat Yulayev Award of the BASSR (1967). Member of the Union of Writers of the BASSR. Studied at the Editorial Institute (Moscow, 1932) and Timiryazev Bashkir Ped. Institute (1935—37). In 1920, a teacher in Derevnya Dengizbayevo, Samara Gub., between 1926—27, teacher educator of the Khudayberdin Bashkir Preschool Orphanage №1 (Ufa); between 1933—35, Assisstant Editor at the Zernovaya Fabrika newspaper of the Zilairsky state farm, Baymaksky Raion. The main characters of D.’s works are the people with an active life position, who fight for positive changes in life: Khylyukay­Pioneer (1926), Aybika (1930), Waves of Spikes (1932), Irgiz. The creative works by D. have been translated into the Belarusian, Kazakh, Tat. and other languages. Delegate of the 1st Congress of Bashkiria Soviet Writers (Ufa, 1934), and the 1st All Union Congress of Soviet Writers (Moscow, 1934). In 1937, she was subjected to political purges (until 1942, she had been imprisoned). Rehabilitated in 1956.
