ZUBAIROV, Amin (Abdulla) Fakhretdinovich [18.3.1891, Derevnya Ishly of Sterlitamaksky Uyezd of Ufa Gub. (Aurgazinsky Raion of the RB) — 23.5.1963, Ufa], Actor. People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1949) and BASSR (1935). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1949), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1944, 1955). He studied at the Gusmania Madrassa (1906—
08) and at the Galia Madrassa (1908—09). Between 1909—11, he worked as an actor of the Saiyar troupe (Kazan), between 1912—14 — Nur troop (Ufa); since 1917 — a Leader of the amateur groups of Ufa and Bashkortostan. Since 1919 — an Actor of the Ufa Tatar-Bashkir Show Theatre, between 1922—63 — at BSAT.
The actor’s deep understanding of the life of people and his curiosity allowed Z. to create a gallery of original dramatic characters. The actor’s dramatic roles are distinct in the true to life completeness of artistic image, naturalness of stage plasticity and gesture. He played the part of Aitugan in the motion picture Salavat Yulayev (Soyuzdetfilm Film Studio, 1941).
