MAGADEYEV, Basyr Davletovich (15.2.1933, Selo Abzanovo of Zianchurinsky Raion of the BASSR – 2.6.2014, Ufa, buried in his homeland), Mining Geological Engineer. Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1974). Merited Geologist of the BASSR (1982). Laureate of the USSR State Award (1980). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (1986). Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Non‑Ferrous Metals and Gold (1956). Since 1960 at the Abzelilovskaya Geological Exploration Crew, since 1963 at the thematic party of the Bashkir Geophysical Expedition, since 1974 at the Central Prospecting and Exploration Party, since 1978 at the Bashkirgeologiya Production Association (since 1987 as Deputy Gen. Dir.); between 1992–97 Chairman of the RB State Committee for Geology and Subsoil Use. Scientific and production activity is connected with the development of the method of prospecting and exploration of ore‑bearing deposits. A street was named after M. in his native place.
