MAGADEYEV, Makarim Adgamovich
MAGADEYEV, Makarim Adgamovich (23.12.1901, Derevnya Nizhnyaya Oka of Bugulminsky Uyezd of Samara Gub. — 10.7.1938, Ufa), Actor, Director. Between 1917—21, he was a participant of various travelling private theatre companies, an actor of the Red Army Theatre at the political department of the 5‑th Army and of Ufa Tatar‑Bashkir Show Theatre. Since 1922, he studied at the Central Technical School of Theatrical Art (Moscow) and simultaneously worked at the Moscow Central Tatar Workers’ Theatre. Between 1926—37 — a Teacher at Bashk. Theatre Art School, simultaneously since 1930 — an Actor and Director, since 1933 — the Artistic Managing Director at BSAT.
He made it into the history of the Bashkir Theatre as a reformer of the national stage: he contributed to the development of professional theatrical culture and acting skills, affirming the artistic principles of K.S.Stanislavsky, changed the repertoire of the Theatre and the rehearsal process. As a director, he mainly staged the plays to the works of classical writers, focusing on the so‑called effective analysis.
