MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT STATION

MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT STATION, a state‑owned agricultural enterprise specializing in provision of technological (plowing, seeding, harvesting of crop and forage, fertilizer treatment, etc) services to agricultural entities. In the RB, technological and administrative assistance to collective farms has been provided, since the 1930s, by machinery and tractor stations, which were re‑organized and called RTS late in the 1950s; their rebirth took place at the end of the 1990s, then they were named MTS. In 2000, the main MTS of the Republic, i.e. Bashkirskaya (Ufimsky Raion), was established, which was re‑organized into Tsentralnaya MTS in 2010. In the Republic, there are 2 MTSes: GUSP Tsentralnaya and GUSP MTS ZauralyeAgro (Baymaksky Raion).
