MOLNIYA Ufa Scientific and Research Enterprise, AO. It develops, revamps and manufactures the ignition systems and electronic control equipment for aircraft gas turbine engines. Manufactures plugs and ignition units for all aircrafts, electronic control systems for the powerplants of various types of aircrafts, control systems for Fuel and Energy Complex, etc. Established in 1941 as Design Engineering Department at Specialized Plant No.161 for the production of ignition systems, evacuated from Moscow, since 1957 PO No.140 (OKB M.), since 1966 Ufa Aggregate Design Bureau M., since 2001 has its current name.
