ODK–UFA MOTORBUILDING PRODUCTION ASSOCIATION, OAO. The largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in RF. It develops, manufactures and repairs gas turbine engines for military aviation, helicopter units; manufactures equipment for oil and gas industry, etc. It has the following branches: OKB named after A. Lyulka (Moscow), Lytkarinsky Machine‑Building Plant. In 1931, Ufa Motor Plant was founded for manufacture of combine harvester engines, since 1940 Plant No.384, in 1941 the evacuated Rybinsk Motor Plant No.26 (founded in 1925) was housed in its territory, in December they were united into State Union Plant No.26 that comprised Leningrad Motor plants Nos.234 and 451, part of near-Moscow Plant No.219, the design bureau of the Moscow Central Insti tute of Aviation Engine‑Building, and Ufa Diesel Plant No.336. Since 1967 Ufa Engine Plant, since 1978 has its current name. Since 2008, it has become part of AO United Engine Corporation of the Rostekhnologii State Corporation, since 2011 it has been the parent company of the division Engines for Combat Aviation. Technologies of automated casting molds, high‑precision fabrication of gears, electron‑beam welding of units from titanium alloys and nickel alloys, laser cutting of sheet material, highspeed programmable electro‑erosion hole cutting, no‑contact high‑precision measurement of parts using laser, application of multi‑layer ion‑plasma coatings, automatic programmable technology of piping fabrication have been introduced in the company. Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1936, 1971), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1945).
