PAVLOV, Valentin Nikolayevich (b.10.3. 1966 in Ufa), Urologist. Associate Member of the RAS (2016), Dr.Sci (Medical Sciences) (1999), Full Professor (2002). Merited Master of Sciences of the RB (2006), Excellent Worker of Public Health of the RB (2007). After graduating from the BSMI (1989) worked in Ufa Hospital No.8. Since 1990 — in BSMU. Between 2006—08 — Prorector for Medicine and since 2011 — Rector. His scientific research is tied to immune prevention and immune therapy of basic urological diseases, improving diagnosis methods, prevention and treatment of urinary tract cancer, development of allogenic biomaterials which are applicable in urology, etc. Chairman of the Bashkir division of Russian Urologists’ Society (since 1999).
