PAVLOV, Leonid Ilyich
PAVLOV, Leonid Ilyich (3.8.1910, Yaroslavl – 26.3.1977, Ufa), Industrialist. Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1971), the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1966), and the Order of the Red Star (1943). Graduated from the UAI (1955). Since 1941 at UMEP (since 1946 Shop Supervisor); between 1957–74 Dir. of the Gidravlika Plant. In 1941, he provided evacuation of the Mechanical Shop of Plant No.26 (ref. ODK–Ufa Motor-Building Production Association) and the resumption of its operations in Ufa. Under the leadership of P., the Gidravlika Plant organized the manufacture of flexible sealed stainless steel piping; complex hydraulic, fuel, and air filters for aerospace equipment; circuit breakers for the protection of on-board electric power grid from overload (for the first time in the USSR).
