PAUTOVA, Elena Osipovna (b.22.1. 1986 in Sochi), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (athletics) of Russia (2004). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (2005). Awarded with the Order of Honour (2012), Order of Friendship (2006), Order of Peoples’ Friendship of the RB (2008), Order of Salavat Yulayev (2004), the 2nd Class Medal of the Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2009). Since 2001 he has been competing for the Sports Master Skills Training Centre of the RB (Ufa; Coach – P.Z.Buylov). Champion (2004, 2012) and Bronze Medalist (2004; 2-times, 2008) of the Paralympic Games. The World (2006, 2011, 2013, 2015) and European (2003, 2005, 2009, 2012, 2016) Champion, Silver (2-times, 2015) and Bronze (2003, 2006) Medalist of World Championships, Winner of the World Games for disabled people (2-times, 2003; 3-times, 2007; 2-times, 2015). Winner of the World Championship (2-times, 2005) among young people. The World Record holder (2003–07) in the race for 5,000 and 1,500 m among blind and visually-impaired athletes. Member of the Russian National Team (since 2001).
