AGRICULTURAL FAIRS

AGRICULTURAL FAIRS, a greenmarket regularly or periodically organized in a particular place; seasonal sale of agricultural products by producers of the Republic. In the RB, weekend, New Year’s Eve meat, autumn vegetables, honey etc fairs have become customary. Their participants are individual entrepreneurs, incl. heads and members of farm enterprises and homesteads, or just those engaged in individual gardening, vegeculture, livestock breeding. A.f. are arranged temporarily, not at permanent retail greenmarkets, following the RB local government’s decisions. In Ufa, A.f. have been organized since 1992. In 2017, more than 2000 A.f., incl. farm fairs, were held.
