NADRSHINA Fanuza Aitbayevna (b. 7.2.1936, Derevnya Staro-Muradymovo of Aurgazinsky Raion of the BASSR, now Derevnya Muradym of the same raion of the RB). Merited Member of the AS RB (2016). Dr.Sci (Philology, 1998). Merited Scientist of the RB (2000). Laureate of the BASSR Award named after Salavat Yulayev (1987). Awarded with the Order of Salavat Yulayev (2007). Graduated from the Sterlitamak State Pedagogical Institute (1959). Between 1954–59 (intermittently), worked in Aurgazinsky Raion. Since 1962, in the Institute of History, Language and Literature. Scientific work is dedicated to the study and development of the theory of genres in the Bashkir folklore. Author and compiler of the following books: Bashkir Folk Songs, Songs-Legends, a trilingual edition (1997), Ural-Batyr: Bashkir Folk Epic (2003), Salavat in Bashkir Folklore (in 2 vol., 2008), Bashkir Folk Epic Tales (2010; all – in Bashkir, Russian and English languages). One of the compilers of the Bashkort Khalyk Izhady and the Bashkir Folk Art collections. Author and host of the Bashkir TV program The History of People in the History of Songs (1984–90).
