TAMBUR

“TAMBUR”, a studio of decorative and applied art of the Belyankovskiy multifunctional rural club of Belokatay district of RB. Established in 2001. In 2006 it earned the title “People’s”; in 2014 it became an honored folk-art team of RB. Participants of the studio make women’s ethnic costumes of the North-Eastern Bashkirs decorated with tambour embroidery (dresses, aprons, skullcaps), towels, namazlyks, tablecloths, sharshau, pillowcases, curtains, pouches, shawls, handkerchiefs, sashes, etc.
