UDMURT HISTORICAL AND CULTURAl CENTER o f  t h e R B, a public organization, branch of the House of Peoples’ Friendship. It was established in 2006 in Novye Tatyshly village of Tatyshlinsky district of the RB in order to safeguard and develop the cultural heritage, native language, and their traditions and rituals, the revival of Bashkir crafts, etc. The center holds Maslenitsa, Sabantuy, and other holidays. Participates in various holidays, competitions, and festivals. The center is the home of the folk ensembles “Shuldyr zhyt” (“Merry evening”), “Solovushka”, “Zhemchuzhina”, folk male vocal ensemble “Eagle”, folk vocal and instrumental ensemble “Udmurt guys”, children’s band “Restless”, and a club of Udmurt women “Wreath of friendship”. Every year, the interregional children’s art camp “City of craftsmen” organizes workshops such as “Golden straw”, “Birch bark”, “Folk tunes”, “Weaving”, etc.
