Published since 1974 by the Bashkir State University in Russian as “Folklore of the peoples of the RSFSR”; the current name since 1992. Until 1993, it was published annually (1–20 issues), and in 2006, the 26th issue was released. Executive editors: T.M. Akimova (1974–87) and L.G. Barag (1974–95), L.I. Bryantseva (1997– 2006). Limited edition of 200 copies. The main sections: historiography; interethnic folklore connections; epics, fairy tales, songs; non-narrative prose; folklore and literature, etc.
