ABDRAZAKOV, Amir Gabdulmanovich (15.1.1934, Selo Kaipkulovo of the MiddleVolga Obl. – 6.3.2008, Ufa), Actor, Film Director, Screenwriter. Merited Cultural Worker of the BASSR (1974). Laureate of the RB State Award named after Salavat Yulayev (2006). After graduating from GITIS (1959), he worked as an actor at BSAT. Between 1962–94 – Stage Dir. of Bashkortostan TV-Radio Company, simultaneously between 1990–91 – Gen. Dir. and between 1991–94 – Film Dir. at Bashkortostan Film Studio. The author of scripts and the director of over 50 films: Zagir Ismagilov (1987), Zaki Validi Togan, Zaynab Biisheva (both — in 1992), I Miss My Fatherland at Home (2002), etc. For the first time in the history of Bashkir TV, he shot serial feature films Gold is Collected by Grains (1979) after the namesake novel by Ya.Kh. Khammatov, Kinzya (1988) after the namesake novel by G.G.Ibragimov.
