AKHIYAROV, Kamil Shayekhmurzinovich [b.19.2.1930 in Derevnya Verkhnemancharovo of Birsky Canton of the BASSR (Ilishevsky Raion of the RB)], Teacher. Associate Member of the Russian Academy of Education (1996), Dr.Sci. (Pedagogics) (1974), Full Professor (1976). Merited Master of Sciences of the RSFSR (1982) and BASSR (1980), Merited General Education School Teacher of the BASSR (1960). Laureate of the Bashkir Komsomol Award (1985). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1953), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1949), Order of the Badge of Honour (1944). After graduation from the K.A.Timiryazev’ Bashkir Ped. Institute (1951), he worked in the Chelkakovskaya General Education School of Buraevsky Raion (since 1953 as Dir.). Since 1963, Vice-Rector for Academic Studies and Scientific Research and Rector at Birsky Ped. Institute; since 1989, Lecturer at the BSPU. Scientific research is dedicated to the problems of ethno-pedagogics, and labour and polytechnic education of general education school students. Chairman of the Presidium of the Bashkir Republican Department of Ped. Society of the RF (since 1976). Deputy of the 6th Session of the Supreme Council of the BASSR.
