AKHUNOV, Rustem Rinatovich (b.22.8. 1978, Ufa), Economist. Associate Member of the AS RB (2018), Doctor of Science (Economics, 2018). Merited Economist of the RB (2021), Distinguished Education Specialist of RB (2015). Graduated from BSU, Department of Economics (2000) and Law Institute (2002), and the Russian Academy of National Economy and State Administration under the President of the RF (2011). Since 2001, he has worked in BSU. Since 2011, Director at the Institute of Economics, Finance and Business. Since 2017, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development. Since 2018, Temporarily Acting Chairman, since 2019, Laboratory Head of the Centre for Strategic and Interdisciplinary Studies at Ufa Federal Scientific Research Centre of the RAS. Scientific research is dedicated to the problems of social and economic development and competitiveness of the region. A deputy of the 6th Session of the State Assembly — Kurultay of RB.
