BABICHEVA, Tansulpan Dogiyevna (b.15.5.1953, Davlekanovo), Actress. Full Professor (2005). People’s Artist of the RF (2000) and RB (1994), Merited Artist of the  RSFSR  (1991)  and  BASSR  (1981). Laureate of the BASSR Award named after Salavat Yulayev (1981). After graduating from the USIA (1974) until 2005, she worked as an Actress at BSAT; since 1984 — as a Teacher at USIA (since 2001 — Head of Department), between 2005—06 — Artistic Managing Dir. of the National Youth Theatre of the RB. The B.’s artistic work is characterized by expressiveness, richness of colours, high acting skills. The focal place in her artistic work was given to the images of strong spirited women. The comedy roles of the actress were distinguished by a combination of folksy humor and elements of grotesque. She staged a number of plays on the BSAT stage, starred in movies and telefilms.
