DIESEL FUEL. The production of D.f. by straight run oil distillation was mastered in the Republic at the Ishimbay Oil Refinery and at the Ufa Cracking Plant (in the late 30s), at the Novo Ufimsky Oil Refinery, the Ufimsky Refinery named after the 22nd CPSU Congress and at the Combine No.18 (in the 50s; the technology for producing high sulfur crude was introduced in cooperation with BashNIINP for the first time in the country); hydrocracking of vacuum gas oil — at the Ufimsky Refinery named after the 22nd CPSU Congress (since the 70s; lowsulfur crude). All types of D.f. are produced in the Republic. The RB is the leader in D.f. production (11.4%) in the RF (2017).
