ACADEMICAL CENTER
ACADEMICAL CENTER of National Commissariat of education of BASSR was founded in 1922 in Ufa to manage education and culture development in the republic. It was abolished in the early 1930’s. A.c. included at dif ferent times scientific metho dological (Bashkir, Russian, of ethnic minorities), terminolo gical, literatureartistic, museum, archival, theatrical, musical, children’s commissions; Society of studying Bashkiria and Re gional bureau of local history, which was a bridge between the leading scientific organizations of the country and local historical organizations. The bureau helped to found the museums in Birsk, Belebey, Beloretsk, Sterlitamak cities. There were also museums of local history based on schools founded by means of a local history school section. Textbooks and manuals for higher educational institutions, colleges and ethnic schools were expanded under A. management. The center published “Bashkir collection of local history” created together with the participants of Bashkir complex expedition. Folklore of peoples from Bashkortostan was published in the “Bashkir land” collection, “Knowledge” journal.
