GAZIZOV, Flus Mirzasalikhovich (25.6. 1937, Derevnya Semyakovo of the TASSR – 4.2.2008, Sterlitamak), Chemical Technologist. Merited Acad. of the AS RB (1995), D.Sci. (Engineering Sciences) (1993), Full Professor (1995). Merited Chemist of the RF (1993) and the RB (1992). Laureate of the USSR State Award (1991). After graduating from the Kazan Chemical Technology Institute (1959) worked at “Avangard” Enterprise (since 1988 as Deputy Dir. General). The scientific and industry activities encompass the development  of technologies  for  the production of solid rocket fuels, comprehensive methods of gas emissions purification from nitrogen oxides and sulfur. The technologies for production of industrial explosives, incl. elastic shaped charges, gunpowder thermogas generators for enhanced gas and oil recovery on the basis of obsolete ballistic powders were applied in the industry under the leadership of G.
