DEGTYARYOV, Alexander Nikolayevich (b.8.4.1952, Selo Staropetrovo of Birsky Raion of the BASSR), Economist. Associate Member of the AS RB (2012), Dr. of Economics (2002), Full Professor (1997). Merited Master of Sciences of the RB (2002), Merited Worker of Higher Professional Education of the RF (2002). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (2012). After graduating from the UAI (1973), he worked there; since 1987 – at Bashkortostan Obl. Committee of the CPSU. Between 1990– 2011 Rector of UGAES, between 2014–15 the Acting Rector of USATU. Since 2016, the Acting Vice President of the AS RB. Scientific activities are devoted to institutional economy, problems of small business development, services sector, optimization of efficient use of labour of highly qualified personnel in the conditions of market economy. Chief Editor of The Herald of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan journal (2006–11). Deputy of the 3–4th Sessions of the State Assembly – Kurultay of the RB.
