REPUBLIC BURN CENTRE

REPUBLIC BURN CENTRE, the structural unit of the Municipal Clinical Hospital No.18. It was established in 1966 and was one of the first such centers in the USSR. The Centre consists of Department of Resuscitation and Intensive Care, Admission and Diagnostics Department and Burn Unit. Provides complex specialized and high‑tech medical care. Such care includes healing of thermal injuries on airfluidized beds, systems of negative pressure and skin grafting, contemporary wound dressings, surgical necrectomy utilizing hydrosurgical systems of ultrasound necrectomy, diagnostics and treatment of complications of severe burn injuries utilizing endoscopic methods, contemporary monitoring methods, rehabilitation of patients with thermal injuries and others.
