GAYAZOV, Alfis Sufiyanovich (b.3.6. 1956 in Selo Staroye Kazanchi of Askinsky Raion of the BASSR), Teacher. Acad. of the AS RB (2016), Associate Member of the Russian Academy of Education (2009), Dr.Sci (Pedagogics) (1996), Full Professor (1997). Merited Master of Sciences of the RB (2000), Excellent Worker of People’s Education of the RSFSR (1989), Merited Worker of Higher Professional Education of the RF (2006). Laureate of the Bashkir Komsomol Award (1985). After graduation from the Birsky Ped. Institute (1977), he continued his career there: since 1987 as Dean of Department of Biology, since 1989 – of Department of Pedagogy and Psychology. Since 1998 at BSPU: Chairman of Department of Pedagogy, simultaneously, since 2001 Dir. of the Institute of Pedagogy. Since 2011 the Minister of Education of the RB, since 2015 President of the AS RB. Scientific research is dedicated to the problems of education of a younger generation and formation of civic consciousness. Author of poems, plays, etc.
