GENATULIN Anatoly [real name Giniatullin Talkha Yumabayevich; 20.4.1925 in Derevnya Urazovo of Tamyan‑Kataysky Canton of the BASSR (now Uchalinsky Raion of the RB) — 7.11.2019, Ibid.]. People’s Writer of the RB (2010). Merited Cultural Sector Professional of the BASSR (1990). Laureate of the Aksakov Award (2008). Awarded with the Order of Patriotic War, 1st Class (1985) and Order of Glory, 3rd Class (1944). Member of the Union of Writers of the RB. Participant in the Great Patriotic War. Graduated from the Gorky Literature Institute (Moscow, 1966). Author of the following books: Ayutash (1975), My Golden Cradle (1984), What is Behind the Hill? (1997), The War is Just about to End (2005), etc. The books of G. are published in English, Chinese, German, Polish and other languages. Urazovsky Lyceum (Uchalinsky Raion) is named after G.
