GIDRAVLIKA (Hydraulics) Ufa Aggregate Enterprise, AO. Produces aviation auxiliary power units; small power plants; flexible piping and expansion joints made of titanium alloys, stainless steel and PTFE with titanium braiding; hydraulic, fuel, air, oil filters; components for fuel and hydraulic systems, etc. Founded in 1942 as a branch using the equipment of evacuated (to Saratov, later on to Ufa) Rzhevsky Plant No.307 (manufactured cushioning products), since 1943 Union Plant No.85 of the People’s Commissariat of Aviation Industry. During the Great Patriotic War, the plant supplied products for the enterprises of the aviation industry of the Urals and Siberia. In 1945 the production of units was mastered, in 1948 the manufacture of flexible metal piping was started. Since 1966 it became Ufa Plant G., in 1970 after merging with Design Bureau Gidromekhanika (Ufa) it was renamed to Ufa Aggregate Enterprise G., since 1991 has its current name. In early 1970s, the microplasma welding of stainless steel was introduced in the company for the first time in the RB; in early 80s – isothermal stamping using superplasticity of steel and aluminum alloys.
