HYDROCRACKING

HYDROCRACKING, catalytic processing of heavy petroleum fractions in conditions of high partial hydrogen pressure. The Ufa Oil Refinery named after the 22nd Congress of the CPSU started first in the country to employ hydrocracking for the vacuum gas oils treatment in the mid. 70s. The H. unit modernization was implemented (of 1 million t per year capacity) in the mid. 90s; the process takes place at a temperature of 360—420°C and atmospheric pressure 10— 12 MPa in the fixed bed of the aluminum nickel molybdenum catalyst; 2 process flowsheets applied, i.e. with the production of environmentally friendly diesel and jet fuels.
