HYDROTREATMENT, catalytic methods of removal of sulfur and nitrogen compounds, asphalt resin substances, etc., impairing the performance properties of fuels and oils, from petroleum products. The first domestic diesel fuel H. unit has been operated at the Ufa Oil Refinery since 1960; gasoline H. process and G 43 107 complex with gas oil vacuum H. were commissioned in the 90s. Adsorption refining unit, producing high quality oils, operated at Novo Ufimsky Oil Refinery in the 70s (until 2004); gasoline and diesel fuel H. units are currently in operation. In the late 50s — early 60s the Ufaneftekhim Сompany mastered the process of diesel fuel H. The oils H. unit was launched between 1975–79.
