GIZATULLIN, Khamid Nurislamovich

GIZATULLIN, Khamid Nurislamovich (b.10.2.1932, Khutor Chuyunchi-Chupanovo of Zilairsky Raion of the BASSR), Economist. Associate Member of the RAS (1991), Dr. of Economics (1977), Full Professor (1982). After graduating from the BSU (1963), he worked at the Ural Scientific Center of the AS USSR: at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, since 1979 at the Institute of Economics (Sverdlovsk). Since 1985, he managed the Electronic Publishing House, simultaneously, since 1985 he worked at the BSU and since 1987 as Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of BSC Ural AS USSR. Since 1992, Dir. of the Institute of Economics and Sociology of the USC RAS, since 1997 Advisor at the RAS. Scientific studies are devoted to mathematical modeling of social economic and production processes, economics of scientific and technical progress. G. developed a method of calculating the integral effect of the structural shift in the economy of a region, tested on the economy of the RB.
