GLADYSHEVA, Svetlana Alekseyevna (b.13.9.1971 in Ufa), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (mountain skiing) of Russia (1994). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (1994). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (1994), Order of Honour (2014). A trainee of the Zenit Voluntary Sports Society (Coach – L.P.Fink), between 1987—98 she competed for the Dynamo Sports Society (I.P.Scryabin). Silver Medalist of the Olympic Games (1994), the World Supergiant Cup Winner (1996); Bronze Medalist of the Downhill Skiing World Cup (1991); Winner of the European Cup (1992) in the overall ratings. Champion and Silver Medalist of the World Championship (1990) among juniors. Participant of the Olympic Games (1992, 1998). Member of the National Team (1987–98). President of the Russian Alpine Skiing and Snowboard Federation (2010–14).
