GORZELENKHOZ, MUP (municipal unitary enterprise) Implements measures to create, maintain, reconstruct, and monitor preservation of plantations; production and sale of planting material of decorative plants. Located in Ufa. Founded in 1935 as Zelenstroy Multicorporate Enterprise; since 1967 Specialist Plantation Repair and Construction Department, since 1993 a contracting multicorporate enterprise; since 1997 and till now G. G. comprises: 5 production sites, mechanized works fields for production of roll turf, Plantation Preservation Surveillance Administration (Selo Chesnokovka of Ufimsky Raion), nursery of decorative trees and bushes, greenhouses, etc. G. maintains 84 facilities with a total area of 283.13 ha incl. 36 mini parks (52.16 ha), 8 parks (98.99 ha), 3 gardens (8.88 ha), 12 road junctions, streets and slopes (63.87 ha), 2 boulevards (2.01 ha), 2 hotel territories (7.09 ha), 21 adjacent territories (32.93 ha), 19 fountains, 1 water body, 33 memorials, 1 forest nursery (60 ha), 21.8 thous. ha of mountain forests, and an open air cage facility (2017). The company utilizes the technologies of landscaping with the use of roll turf, multi component lawn grass mixtures, winter planting of large size trees, etc; the technology of planting trees and bushes on flush soils has been developed.
