GUSMANOV, Uzbek Gusmanovich (13.8. 1935, Derevnya Taimurzino of Dyurtyulinsky Raion of the BASSR – 25.9.2016, Dyurtyuli), Economist. Associate Member of the RAAS (1997), Acad. of the AS RB (1991), Dr. of Economics (1988), Full Professor (1991). Merited Master of Sciences of the RF (1994) and BASSR (1984). Awarded with the Order of Friendship (2006), Order of Salavat Yulayev (2015). Graduated from the BAI (1959). Since 1965 he worked at the Bashkir Branch of the AS USSR, between 1989–97 – at the BSAU, simultaneously, since 1991 Academician Secretary of Department of Agricultural Sciences of the AS RB. Since 1998 Chairman of the Bashkir Scientific Center of the RAAS, simultaneously, Academician Secretary of Department of Biological, Medical and Agricultural Sciences of the AS RB. Scientific studies are devoted to the theory and methods of economic accountability and economic independence of agricultural enterprises, improvement of management, remuneration and production systems of agricultural enterprises.
