DIVERSIFICATION, expansion of the range of manufactured products and reorientation of sales markets, commissioning of new types of production in order to increase efficiency and gain economic benefits. It implies simultaneous development of unrelated types of activities (production, sales, business), distribution of funds among different (by a number of parameters) assets in order to reduce risks. In the RB, there arose a need to replace military products with civilian ones. 16 enterprises and 40 thous. specialists of the defense industry were involved in the process. For example, ODK­ - Ufa Motor­-Building Production Association produces drives for gas pumping stations comparable with AL-31ST and AL-31F aircraft engines, installed on SU-27 aircrafts. The production of wide chord blades was mastered. Within the framework of D., Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise manufactures Ka-226T heli­ copter for transportation of medical patients; by Tuymazy Ready Mix Truck Plant the production line for manufacture of mobile concrete plants of Granit brand series has been launched, etc.
