DYAKONOV, Vladislav Dmitriyevich

DYAKONOV, Vladislav Dmitriyevich (22.4.1928, Vologda – 13.8.2017, Ufa), Industrialist. Candidate of Engineering Science (1985). Hero of Socialist Labour (1980). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1980), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1971). Graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (1951). Between 1955–86 and 1993–2005, he worked at the UMPO (between 1977–86 as Gen. Dir.). Since 1986 at the Ural Branch of the RI of Motor Engineering (Ufa), between 1987–93 at IPSM. In early 80s, under the leadership of D., for the first time in the industry, the technology of manufacturing complex profile parts from titanium alloys was introduced and implemented at the ODK–Ufa Motor-­Building Production Association. Deputy of the 10th Session of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR.
