YELISTRATOV, Semyon Andreyevich (b.3.5.1990, Ufa), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (short track) of Russia (2013). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (2018). Awarded with the Order of Friendship (2014), Order of Salavat Yulayev (2014), Order for Merits to the Republic of Bashkortostan (2018), the 2nd Class Medal of the Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2018). A trainee of the Specialised Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No.1 (Coach – A.I.Maksimov). Champion of the Olympic Games (2014) in the relay, Bronze Medalist of the Olympic Games (2018) and the World Champion (2015) at a distance of 1500 m, Winner of the World Cups (2015–16) at 1000 m, European Champion in the all around (2016–17), in the relay (2013–15), 1500 m (2014, 2016–17), 1000 m (2016, 2019), Silver (2013) and Bronze (3 times, 2018) Winner of the World Championships, multiple Silver and Bronze Medalist of the European Championships at individual distances, in the relay and all around. The record holder of the Olympic Games (2014), record holder of Russia (2009) in the relay and the World (2016) at 1000 m. Participant of the Olympic Games (2010). Member of the Russian National Team (since 2007).
