YENIKEYEV, Zufar Irgaliyevich (b.4.3.1951 in Derevnya Mukasovo 1st of Baymaksky Raion of the BASSR), Legislator. Associate Member of the AS RB (2012), Dr. of Laws (2004). Merited Lawyer of the RB (2001). Awarded with the Order of Salavat Yulayev (2011). Graduated from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute (1973). Since 1990, Chairman of various commissions of the Supreme Council of the RB. Since 1995, Chairman of the State Assembly – the Kurultay of the RB. Simultaneously, between 2005–12, he worked in the Institute of Law of the BSU. Between 2010–13, Head of Secretariat of the State Assembly – the Kurultay of the RB. Since 2014, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the RB. Scientific research is dedicated to the problems of constitutional and environmental law, history of state and Bashkortostan law. Deputy of the 12th Session of the Supreme Council of the RB and the 1–4th Sessions of the State Assembly – the Kurultay of the RB. Between 1996–2000, Representative of the RF in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe (Strasbourg, France).
