ZHERNAKOV, Vladimir Sergeyevich

ZHERNAKOV, Vladimir Sergeyevich (b.8.8.1944 in Davlekanovo), Mechanical Engineer. Associate Member of the AS RB (2012), Dr. of Engineering (1992), Full Professor (1993). Merited Scientist of the RF (1999), Merited Machine Builder of the RB (1992), Merited Worker of Higher Vocational Education of the RF (2007). On graduation from the UAI works there (between 1993–2003 as Vice Rector for research). His research activity is dedicated to the mechanics of deformable solids. Zh. has suggested solutions for fundamental and applicable tasks of the theory of elasticity, plasticity, creeping and failure mechanics with regard to basic elements of aircraft structures.
