ZAYNULLIN, Marat Valiyevich (5.11.1935, Selo Verkhne Bashk. Sazovo of Kugarchinsky Raion of the BASSR, now Derevnya Verkhneye Sazovo of Kugarchinsky Raion of the RB, – 13.5.2016, Ufa), Linguist. Acad. of the AS RB (2009), Dr. of Letters (1988), Full Professor (1991). Merited Scientist of the RB (1992). Graduated from the BSU (1959) and between 1962—2014 worked there. His scientific research was dedicated to the grammar of the Bashkir and other Turkic languages, to the comparative study of the Bashkir language and the Russian language, to the problems of cultural linguistics.
