ZAYANCHKOVSKY, Ivan Fillipovich (8.2.1917, Selo Rudoe of Kiev Gub. – 24.5. 2010, Ufa), Veterinary Doctor. Merited Acad. of the AS RB (1995), Dr.Nat.Sci. (Veterinary Sciences) (1962), Full Professor (1963). Merited Scientific Worker of the RSFSR (1977) and the BASSR (1970). Graduated from the Voronezh University (1941), the Uzbek Rural Institute (Tashkent, 1943). Between 1964–97 Professor in the BSAU. His scientific research is dedicated to study of physiology and pathology of livestock reproduction, including problems of artificial insemination, treatment of newborns’ diseases. Z. has developed the concept of professional ethics and deontology in the veterinary medicine. He was one of the founders of the Museum of Livestock Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biotechnics in the BSAU.
