ZEMFIRA

ZEMFIRA (born Zemfira Talgatovna Ramazanova; b.26.8.1976 in Ufa), Singer, Musician, Songwriter. Laureate of the Award named after Sh.Babich (2000). Graduated from the Ufa School of Arts (1996). Since late 1990s, she has lived and worked in Moscow. The organizer and soloist of rock band Zemfira (Ufa, 1997), a popular rock musician. The artistic work of Z. is inherent in emotional versatility, ideological depth, style syncretism, originality of harmonic decisions and compositional manner performance. The author of the albums Zemfira (1999), Forgive Me, My Love (2000), Fourteen Weeks of Silence (2002), Vendetta (2005), Thank You (2007), To Live in Your Head (2013).
