ZIANCHURINSKY RAION
ZIANCHURINSKY RAION, located on the S of the RB. Established on August 20, 1930. Territory — 3,342 km2. Adm. centre — Selo Isyangulovo, which is located 337 km S of Ufa and 54 km SE of the Tyulgan Railway Station (Orenburg Obl.). Population — 25.3 thous. people (2017).
In 2018, the area of agricultural lands amounted to 175.3 thous. ha (52.4% of the total area), including arable lands — 46.6, hayfields — 47.1, pastures — 81.4; forest area — 116.5, surface waters — 1.2. Agricultural enterprises [19 OOOs, 104 peasant (farmer) farms], located on the plain area of the Raion, specialize in growing winter and spring wheat, buckwheat, potatoes, sunflower and forage crops, breeding of dairy cattle; those in mountainous area of the Raion – on breeding meat cattle, beekeeping, and horse breeding. On the territory of the Raion there is a forestry enterprise.Also,thereare:Zianchuragazspetsstroy, MUP ZhKSK, OOO Grand, Comfort, Selkhozkhimtrans, Variant Trade and Industry Firm; IP Khalitov, Agrotyekhservice Enterprise in Selo Abzanovo, etc. The Magnitogorsk—Ira Highway crosses the territory.
There are: Agrarian College, 35 general education schools with 17 branches; an orphanage for children and teenagers, 21 preschool educational institutions, the S. Abdullin’ Children’s Music School, the Salauat Sports and Fitness Centre, the Territorial Centre of Social Assistance to Families and Children; a central hospital and 2 rural hospitals, 3 medical outpatient clinics, 45 medical and obstetrical centers; 50 clubs, 33 libraries, and the Zianchurinsky Museum. There are: 11 folk and 5 exemplary amateur art groups.
