IDRISOV, Mukhamet Ramazanovich

IDRISOV, Mukhamet Ramazanovich (18.2.1920, Derevnya Murzino 2nd of Burzyan-Tangaurovsky Canton of the ASBR – 4.2.2012, Ufa), Dancer. Merited Artist of RSFSR (1955), and Merited (1945) and People’s (1953) Artist of BASSR. Awarded with the Order of the Badge of Honour (1949). Between 1941–63, Soloist of the Bashkir State Folk Dance Ensemble. I.’ art is distinguished by its ethnic style of performance. It is a combination of dance movements with rich mimicry, highly expressive gestures, and well aimed verbal expressions. These are revealed in the dances Baik, Present, Three Brothers, Date at the Stream, etc. He acted in the ballet film Crane Song (Sverdlovsk Film Studio, 1959).
