PROCESS LIME

PROCESS LIME. The production of process lime in Bashkortostan was mastered in the 40s at the soda plant, in 1981 – at the lime plant (both – in Sterlitamak). Applied in metallurgy, food and chemical and construction industries, acid waste water neutralization, soil deoxidizing during autumn and spring ploughing, etc. P.l. is produced at the Uchalinsky Mining and Concentration Complex and its Sibay branch, the Beloretsky Metallurgical Complex for its own industrial operations. The RB ranks 3rd (15.8%) in P.l. production in the RF (2017).
