IKSKY
IKSKY, a zoological wildlife reserve of area 22.7 thous. ha in the territory of Kugarchinsky Raion. It was organized to restore the populations of game animals (1972). In 1998 part of the territory of the wildlife reserve was allocated for the Muradymovskoye Gorge Natural Park. In 2012 it was included in Bashkir Ural Biosphere Reserve. The following plants, included in The Red List of the RB, grow in I.: Astragalus helmii, Astragalus karelinianus, Gladiolus imbricatus, Asple nium viride, Allium obliquum, as well as Cypripedium calceolus, Stipa pulcherri ma, Stipa zalesskii, Fritillaria ruthenica, Koeleria sclerophylla, Lathyrus litvino vii are included in The Red Lists of the RB and RSFSR. The wildlife reserve is inhabited by true otter, Russian flying squirrel, common bat, water bat, gray partridge, roller, blindworm, smooth snake, etc, included in The Red List of the RB, as well as saker falcon, golden eagle, imperial eagle, spotted eagle, peregrine falcon, great gray shrike, eagle owl, freshwater sculpin, European grayling, etc, included in The Red Lists of the RB and RF.
