ILTEBANOVSKOYE RESERVOIR, on the Ural River. The dam site is near Selo Iltebanovo of Uchalinsky Raion. Built in 1974, revamped in 1998. Catchment area of the river in the cross-section of the water development — 733 km2, aver. annual volume of inflow — 98 million m3, full volume — 4.9 million m3; surface area — 3.8 km2, length — 6.3 km, aver. width — 1.3 m. Composition of the water development: low-head earth-fill dam (length — 700 m, crest width — 8 m, max. height — 6.5 m), flood discharge (length — 87 m, width — 20 m), emergency siphon water discharge from 4 steel pipes (diam. — 0.5 m, length — 77.5 m).
