IMASHEV, Ural Bulatovich (17.1.1945, Selo Uchaly of Uchalinsky Raion of the BASSR – 3.2.2018, Ufa), Chemist. Acad. of the AS RB (1995), D.Sci. (Chemical Sciences) (1980), Full Professor (1981). Merited Master of Sciences and Technology of the BASSR (1981), Merited Oil Industry Worker of the RF (1995). Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1986). A son of G.Sh.Imasheva. After graduating from the UPI (1968) he continued his career there (between 1991–92 Vice-Rector), simultaneously, between 1992–97 Dir. of the Institute of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry Problems and Gen. Dir. of NPO Neftekhimpererabotka (Ufa). Scientific works are dedicated to the problems of chemistry and technology of linear and cyclic acetals. I. introduced high-performance solvents, plasticizers, corrosion inhibitors into production. He developed scientific fundamentals and technology of fuel oil processing using catalysts and wave resonance effects.
