IMPORT SUBSTITUTION in Bashkortostan, production of goods in the RB instead of importing them. The following companies are working on the I.s. program: Ishimbay Specialized Chemical Plant of Catalysts, Belebeyevsky Dairy Plant (cheese production), Bashevrokub Modular Structures Plant (Neftekamsk; production of mobile feldsher-midwife stations in rural areas, residential and other facilities for oil and gas fields camps), OOO RUSKO LIFT (Sterlitamak; in cooperation with a South Korean company, the manufacture of control systems and elevator mechanical parts with design capacity of up to 10 thous. elevators). In the framework of the I.s. program, Immunopreparat Company (Ufa) produces Relatox medicine (in 2017, it was included into the state register of medicines indefinitely). The Republican Industries Development Fund is operating in the Republic.
