INZER (in translation from Bashkir — “ravine”, “gully”), a river, a left tributary of the Sim River. Length — 307 km, basin area — 5,380 thous. km2. The relief of the basin in the upper and middle reaches is represented by the mediumand low-mountain ridges of the western slope of the Bashkir (Southern) Urals; in the lower reaches — by hilly and rolling foothills. Karst is developed [drylands, caves, incl. Kyzyl`ya rovskaya Cave, Nukatskaya (Pearl) Cave (Beloretsky Raion), etc]. Assy Mineral Springs are located in the river basin. Landscapes are represented by dark-coniferous and broadleaf forests.
