ZAGIR ISMAGILOV INSTITUTE OF ARTS, a state-owned institution located in Ufa. Founded in 1968 (since 2003 — the 15th Academy). Since 2003, it has been named in honour of Z.G.Ismagilov. The Institute comprises 4 departments: Music; Bashk. Music; Theatrical; and Visual Arts). The Institute prepares specialists in the fields of Music, Theatre and Visual Arts. Graduates are awarded the qualification of a Specialist or Bachelor, full-time and distant training are available. There are: postgraduate training programs and internship. The Problems of Musical Science scientific journal and Iskusstvo (Art) newspaper are published in the Institute. Approx. 6 thous. specialists have graduated from the institute by 2018. The USIA buildings is a historical and architectural monument.
